Dalai Lama Quotes:

Love is the absence of judgement.

Whatever forms of meditation you practice, the most important point is to apply mindfulness continuously, and make a sustained effort. It is unrealistic to expect results from meditation within a short period of time. What is required is continuous sustained effort.

There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness.

Be kind whenever possible. it is always possible.

If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.

Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.

It is very important to generate a good attitude, a good heart, as much as possible. From this, happiness in both the short term and the long term for both yourself and others will come.

When we feel love and kindness towards others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace. And there are ways in which we can consciously work to develop feelings of love and kindness. For some of us, the most effective way to do so is through religious practice. For others it may be non-religious practices. What is important is that we each make a sincere effort to take our responsibility for each other and for the natural environment we live in seriously.

Only the development of compassion and understanding for others can bring us the tranquility and happiness we all seek.

Inner peace is the key. If you have inner peace, external problems do not affect your deep sense of peace and tranquility.
