Firstly he was able to endure 211 days during 1995-96 in Calcutta, India. This research was directed by Dr. Ramachandran, a medical expert on allopathy and ayurvedic medicine. The next observation was performed in 2000-2001 in Ahmedabad, India. Sri Hira Ratan Manek was able to sustain his live drinking just water and using sunlight for 411 days. This was supervised by an International team of 21 medical doctors and scientists. The last trial was performed in USA, when Hira Ratan Manke was invited in the Thomas Jefferson University and University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where he underwent a 130 day observation period.
