This section of the EoS directory is devoted to the diversity of religious belief in all parts of our planet. All religions are included, for instance, North American religion, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Taoism, Wicca, and many more.

Religion is individual as well as social phenomenon, and part of the individual and common consciousness. The term religion comes from Latin and is considered to have several etymological meanings.

Religion consists of several separate disciplines: cosmogony, which brings knowledge about the origin of the world and its Creator, soteriology, a branch of theology which deals with salvation and eternal life, and eschatology, which deals with all future events leading to the end of time and judgement day.
