This website presents the results of an amazing research conducted by Jim B. Tucker, M.D., a board-certified child psychiatrist. Dr. Tucker is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatric Medicine at the University of Virginia Health System and medical director of the Child & Family Psychiatry Clinic.

The work and research of Dr. Tucker is focused on trying to answer the question of the origin of the young children's belief in their living before—and dying before. The recollection of the past-life usually starts when these children are two or three years old, and these memories are usually accompanied by a strong emotional involvement. The details of their memories are found to match the details seen on the actual places the children named.
