Ecology

The word Ecology  comes from old Greek terms oikos: home, or abode + logos: science. So the name gives us a hint that ecology is a science which deals with the environment. Ecology is an interdisciplinary science that finds its foundation in biology, geography, geology, physics, chemistry and mathematics. Ecology tries to find solution to the problems of our environment which are mostly caused by human intervention and involvement: burning fossil fuel, toxic metals pollution, pesticides, radioactive waste and many more.
